Moving from BrightWork on SharePoint to BrightWork 365
At BrightWork, we want to make project and portfolio management easier for our customers using Microsoft 365 products.
Existing customers for BrightWork on SharePoint can choose to remain on this platform or move to the new BrightWork 365 solution.
The BrightWork Customer Success Team will work closely with our customers to ensure they get value from their existing BrightWork on SharePoint environment or their new BrightWork 365 solution.
Existing customers for BrightWork on SharePoint have a few options when moving to BrightWork 365.
Move from BrightWork for SharePoint to BrightWork 365
Existing BrightWork customers can transition their licenses from BrightWork on SharePoint to BrightWork 365 (on the Microsoft Power Platform) on a like-for-like basis.
If customers want the same set of users to have access to both BrightWork on SharePoint and BrightWork 365 (on the Microsoft Power Platform) during this transition, there is no need to buy extra licenses.
Continue to use BrightWork for SharePoint
Customers can continue to use BrightWork on SharePoint. There is no requirement to switch to BrightWork 365.
We are committed to releasing new features and capabilities for BrightWork on SharePoint every four months as per the current release cycle.
BrightWork 365 Pricing for
BrightWork on SharePoint Customers
The pricing for BrightWork 365 is the same as the current BrightWork pricing for new customers.
Pricing is a per-user, per-month fee, billed on an annual or multi-year subscription basis.
If an existing BrightWork customer moves to BrightWork 365, a 2/3 discount for Year 1 and a 1/3 discount for Year 2 on the proposed new BrightWork 365 pricing will apply in certain cases.
In other cases, existing Brightwork customers will pay no more than the current support renewal rates.
The three uses cases are as follows:
Renewing with the same number of licenses
The above discounts apply.
The maximum customers will pay in Year 1 and Year 2 for BrightWork 365 is the current BrightWork support renewal.
The market advertised price for Brightwork 365 will apply from the third year onward.
Renewing with fewer licenses
The above discounts don’t apply.
However, the maximum customers will pay in Year 1 and Year 2 for BrightWork 365 is the current BrightWork support renewal.
The market advertised price for Brightwork 365 will apply from the third year onward.
Renewing with more licenses

NOTE
User licenses and pricing refer to BrightWork 365 only.

BrightWork 365 Deployment and Migration Services
BrightWork 365 Jumpstart
Customers will need a BrightWork 365 Jumpstart to move from BrightWork on SharePoint to the new solution.
The JumpStart will run from three to five days, depending on:
- How much configuration is required from the base BrightWork 365 solution.
- How much of this configuration the customer would like BrightWork to carry out.
- The customer’s experience and familiarity with the Microsoft 365 Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Teams, and so on).
Existing customers with unused deployment hours can use these hours for the BrightWork configuration.
BrightWork 365 Configuration and Data Migration
BrightWork on SharePoint and BrightWork 365 (on the Microsoft Power Platform) are built on two very different platforms, even though they are both from Microsoft.
As such, there will be no automatic migration of data or configurations from one system to the other.
Our Customer SuccessTeam can review data migration on a case-by-case basis.
