Your project metrics reporting is only as good as the data

You know the saying “Garbage in and Garbage out” or in other words, bad input will result in bad output. The same applies to project and portfolio management. You will have many people updating and looking for project data within a SharePoint site. For this reason, it is important that all data entry forms in your site are easy to manage and consistent with the summary reports you need.

You should also make sure that the processes are in place to keep the information current. You want to make sure that the project management solution acts as a template and guides your users.



Know your Audience
