Add a Project Metric Join

You can add the various values generated by a Project Metric to a Project Statement report and display them on the same line as a project in a report. The columns will then become available for selection on the Reporter Settings page of the Project Statement report. This is known as Project Metric Join.

Note:

Project Metric Joins are only supported in sites with one instance of a Metrics list. If you add a second or more Metrics list to a site, the Project Metric and Project Statement join reporting will not work as expected.

Only active metrics will supply data to the report. If a metric is marked as inactive, then no data from the metric will appear in the report.

To add a Project Metric Join:

  1. Navigate to the BrightWork Reporter Library and click Report Editor on the menu of the report you want to edit.
  2. Click Add a new project metric join at bottom of the Report Editor page.

  3. Select the Context Settings.

  4. Define the report column mapping for the values you want to make available in the report. You can map to an existing column in the Project Statement report or create a new report column to map to.

    Note:

A column can only be mapped to once in a report.

The Indicator Icon column can only be mapped to another Hyperlink or Picture column.

The Formatted Value columns can only be mapped to text columns.

  5. Click Create.
