    Hello
Just starting with free structured template. Successfully adding tasks, seeing the gant and timeline build itself, etc. Trying to figure out how to make one desk dependent on the other, a critical feature in MS Project. How do I do that? So that you can eventually show a critical path/tasks?

    Hi Joe,

You can set dependencies in Project and sync the changes down into SharePoint. Alternatively you can set them with the predecessors column. You can also indent the tasks from the SharePoint ribbon.

    Hope this helps.

So if I indent, it would treat it as a dependency? Okay.

but in Project you might have dependent tasks in different sections. Assume if we have that, maintain in Project and upload/sync?

    Thanks for help.

Yes, you can maintain the project, then sync to SharePoint.
