The Microsoft Dynamics Sure Step methodology is a resource created to assist with planning and implementing Microsoft Dynamics business solutions (i.e. Microsoft Dynamics AX; CRM; GP; NAV; and SL).
pmPoint for Sure Step is a SharePoint based project management plug-in, available exclusively to Microsoft Dynamics MBS Partners, that supports and enhances this methodology.
pmPoint for Sure Step is available for installation on your SharePoint server, or as a hosted offering
pmPoint for Sure Step ships with over 350 tools and templates (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Visio) from the Sure Step collateral library and also integrates the Sure Step Guidance Library into SharePoint.
pmPoint for Sure Step supports work and task management with enhanced SharePoint reporting that rolls up and filters data from multiple projects and work item types (e.g. tasks, risks, issues, deliverables etc).
On-Premise or Online
pmPoint for Sure Step is available to deploy on-premise (in your own organizations on your own SharePoint 2007 or 2010 servers) and is also available online (in a hosted SharePoint 2010 environment) where your organization can pay per user per month essentially consuming pmPoint as a software service.
