Yes. BrightWork pmPoint can be configured to securely allow access from points outside of your firewall if you so choose. Alternatively, BrightWork pmPoint can be set up as a fully hosted service out of your firewall enabling you to implement a secure extranet without impacting your infrastructure.
BrightWork pmPoint runs within your firewall and can be accessed over HTTP or HTTPS. BrightWork pmPoint supports NTLM and Basic authentication methods which can be used in conjunction with SSL for secure transfer of data over the internet.
No; however we recommend that you do use a dedicated server.
No application development is needed to use BrightWork pmPoint. It is a totally self-contained tool that can be deployed and customized to your organization's needs without any programming skills.
You can customize BrightWork pmPoint at all levels. End users can customize BrightWork pmPoint without the need for programming skills or applications
Yes. You can easily edit existing project management templates to create your own versions that better map to the processes in your organization.
Yes. BrightWork pmPoint currently ships with a number of project management templates. In addition, you have the option to modify and save templates. Future releases of BrightWork pmPoint will include additional templates.
In addition we are licensed by Microsoft to ship all of the templates and guidelines of the MSF models.
No. The five single project management templates: Issue Manager; Commitment Manager; Business Project Manager; IT Project Manager; and Agile Software Manager, and the 3 multiple project templates: Issue Manager Rollup; Project Rollup; and Program Rollup are bundled with BrightWork pmPoint and are not available to purchase separately.

Yes. Both the IT Project Manager and the Agile Software Manager templates have inbuilt risk management modules. IT Project Manager is based on the Microsoft Solutions Framework v3.0. Agile Software Manager is based on the Microsoft Solutions Framework for Agile Software Development. You can also add a risk management module to any of the other templates (or templates you create) by adding the BrightWork Project Risks list.
