We have two versions of TrialZone to assist you in your evaluation of pmPoint:
TrialZone Sandbox
TrialZone Sandbox is a stripped down version of pmPoint that we have built to enable you to see how simple it is to build and customize a project office in pmPoint.
The associated TrialZone Sandbox guides use TrialZone Sandbox to assist you in your evaluation of pmPoint. Note, the guides will be available for download from a link in the email you receive after registering below.
'TrialZone Sandbox Guide 1 - Create a Project Office' will get you to create a project office and two project sites. You will also create and assign some work items and complete some other typical tasks associated with managing work and projects with pmPoint. 'TrialZone Sandbox Guide 2 - Customize your Project Office' will get you to customize your project office.
TrialZone Sample
TrialZone Sample provides a sample project management office (PMO) based on a fictitious company called Contoso. Within this PMO site, you can see how Contoso can manage multiple projects simultaneously across varying project lifecycles. You will also see various types of single projects managed using pmPoint’s pre-built, standards-based templates including Issue Manager, Commitment Manager, Business Project Manager, IT Project Manager and Agile Software Manager.
Refresh Policy
TrialZone Sample is restored on a daily basis. This means that any changes you make will be wiped out. Trialzone Sandbox is also refreshed periodically, but much less frequently (e.g. once every eight weeks). This is to allow you to evaluate pmPoint at your own pace.
