Service Package Description

Assisted Evaluation

1 to 2 days

Intended for prospective customers to fully pilot pmPoint.

We will:

  • Perform a needs assessment and then build a custom proof-of-concept site on our hosted server tailored to your business needs
  • Run-through the site in a conference room setting using a sample of your work and projects
  • Ensure this pilot is organized to allow all your stake holders (e.g. Project Managers, Team Members and Senior Managers) exercise pmPoint in a context specific to your business

Self Help Quick Start

1 Day

 

For new customers who are very familiar with SharePoint and Project Management.

We will:

  • Set your deployment project off on the right foot
  • Ensure you have access to the relevant materials
  • Give you design advice as your proceed through the build phase

Project Office Quick Start

3 to 8 Days

Have your first Project Office up and running in as little as three  to four weeks.

We will:

  • Emphasize knowledge transfer and mentoring to ensure you learn the necessary skills for customizing and maintaining your pmPoint site
  • Get you training and design assistance for customizing and deploying pmPoint to fit your specific business needs for that first project office
  • Carry out the project scoping, planning and setup and needs definition
  • Advise on installation and configuration of the pmPoint solution
  • Build at least 2 templates to manage 2 different project types
  • Build at least 1 project office/rollup template for reporting across projects
  • Deliver pmPoint training for support staff and also for end users

Optimization and Expansion

2 Days per Quarter

Keep innovating and deploying your work and project management through the rest of the organization after the initial Project Office is deployed.

We will:

  • Work with you for 2 days a quarter delivering assistance to maintain and evolve your deployment to support your evolving business needs
  • Accelerate you through the setting up of a complete Work and Program Management Office for all projects in your organization
  • Deliver planning,  infrastructure, training, design and customization support
