Software License

  • A license may be deployed on any number of SharePoint Servers (e.g. multiple front end SharePoint servers, development, test, staging, etc.).
  • The cost of the software license is a one-time fee. The license is perpetual.
  • Organizations may upgrade to higher license tiers over time by just paying the difference between the costs of the license packs.
  • Licensing is based on a named user model.  For example, a Team License Pack provides a software license for up to 50 named users accessing BrightWork.
  • In all cases, users outside the corporation / legal entity have free read access

Support & Upgrades

Support & Upgrades are delivered under an annual plan that includes the following benefits:

  • Support Desk: available to customers through email, phone or the online forum.
  • New Releases: access to all core product and template upgrades and releases including new platform upgrades (e.g. SharePoint 2010 release).
  • Training Environment: access to the Customer Training Environment and associated training materials with the rights to customize as needed.

  • At BrightWork, customer success is our main priority and we realize that one deployment approach will not fit all customers. To this end we deliver three different but complementary deployment services: Self Help Quick Start; Project Office Quick Start; and Optimization and Expansion. Each approach ensures that your users are self-sufficient in the use and maintenance of the BrightWork software after the initial start-up.
  • The level of deployment services each customer requires depends on the configuration purchased and the current and emerging business needs. Typically, BrightWork is up and running in a matter of hours, days or weeks, as opposed to months. More details are available on the deployment approach page.

BrightWork Online Pricing

BrightWork Online is available in a hosted SharePoint environment where your organization can pay per user per month essentially consuming BrightWork as a software service.  Since SharePoint is a non-proprietary platform, organizations can start managing projects with BrightWork ‘in the cloud’ so to speak and can at a later stage move some or all of the projects in-house to an on-premise deployment when the local infrastructure is ready.

The Project Office offering includes the extra functionality added to SharePoint by BrightWork to manage across many projects including the Single Project Management Templates and the Program Management Templates. This allows organizations to manage individual projects of different types and also allows them to manage across these many and varied projects.
