Project Management on SharePoint - Solution Architect – Seattle based
The Opportunity
- BrightWork is an ISV that provides SharePoint-based work and project management solutions
- BrightWork customers include Microsoft, US Army, Thermal Dynamics , etc.
- BrightWork provides deployment and training services to assist partners and customers in implementing and deploying BrightWork pmPoint
- The right candidate will help specify and deliver these deployment, consulting and training services to integrate pmPoint into a customer’s environment
The Role
- Engage with clients to understand business needs and map these needs to SharePoint and pmPoint
- Help partners and customers devise an iterative and agile strategy and plan for the implementation of work and project management practices
- Design, configure and customize the BrightWork product and underlying SharePoint environment
- Develop custom reports, workflows and/or web parts to meet customer-specific requirements
- Help provide training and support to key partners and customers
- Support BrightWork customers and partners in their deployments of pmPoint
Requirements:
- Project and Portfolio Management Experience
- Experience in managing change projects
- Strong Experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2007 and Microsoft Project
- Prior experience delivering services to external customers and partners
- Experience developing functional specifications from customer needs
- Experience developing tool use guides and technical documentation
- Experience with collaboration projects and their deployment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- End-user training and presentation skills
- Facilitation and negotiation skills
